This advanced course covers topics such as Partial Discharge (PD) location, and PRPD analysis on assets such as cables, switchgear, transformers and rotating machines.
Modules (Each module is approx. 1 hour):
- On-line PD Testing and Diagnostics of Switchgear
- On-line PD Testing and Diagnostics of Transformers
- On-line PD Testing and Diagnostics of MV and HV Power Cables
- On-line PD Testing and Monitoring of HV Rotating Machines
- Online Level 2 PD Exam
Additional Course Info:
- Video training and exam need to be completed by Friday up until 23:59 GMT.
- LIVE Q&A sessions will be available on Wednesday with HVPD’s PD Engineers during these following times:
- 08:00 - 09:00 GMT +1
- 15:00 - 16:00 GMT +1
- Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded the HVPD Certificate of Competence.
